My name is John H. Outlan and I am a CPA located in Orlando, Florida and the maintainer of this blog. I also maintain the one and only web forum dedicated to Scientific Linux. This site contains many Linux tips and tricks and will be constantly evolving. This started out as my ‘on-line notes’ or ‘cheat sheet’ and others seem to be benefiting so I’m trying to formalize it a little. The lxpanel drove me nuts so I tinkered the xfce one till it almost matched the lxde one.
